Voluntown Economic Development
Commission
Greetings.
As many of you know, the
Voluntown Economic Development
Commission has established a
website. The goal of this
website is to highlight
Voluntown businesses, attract
new light business into town,
and provide residents and
visitors information about
events and services our town has
to provide. One way we can meet
2 of the 3 above goals is to
spotlight a business. The
initial plan is to randomly pick
a business from the list of
businesses that respond to this
letter. The name of the business
will be placed on the home or
front page of the website as
“Voluntown spotlight business”.
There will also be a link on the
front page that will
automatically send the viewer to
the business’s website (if
available).
What do we need from you?
Simple, come up with a document
that can be easily cut and paste
(preferably a word document).
Your document can be a menu, a
story about your business, a
history or simply an ad with
your business’ logo and what
services you provide. My hope is
to start this in March 2009, but
there is no timeline for you to
submit your information. Please
submit your ads to
chris.smith@Voluntown.biz.

Any ideas that you have are
greatly appreciated. If your
business has an existing
website, and you would like to
have it linked to
www.Voluntown.biz, please email
me that information as well.
