The Voluntown Economic Development Commission has 2 Alternate vacancies. An Alternate gets a voting seat during a meeting in the event of a full board member’s absence. Alternates make it possible for us to hold meetings in the event that full commission members are unable to attend. If you are interested in being appointed to as Alternate commissioner, please fill out the Town of Voluntown Volunteer Form and return it to the Town Clerk’s Office.
Come to our next meeting and see what we do! The EDC meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7PM- except in July and August we have no meetings.
